Cucumber Orange Cooler

A perfect summertime recipe calls for sunglasses, great weather, and, of course, a great cocktail. Here at the Renaissance, we have an amazing beverage program that showcases “hand crafted cocktails made with freshly squeezed juices and house made syrups,” says Kevin Goodchild, our Director of Beverage and Food. Our cocktails are a reflection of the spirit of the hotel where we bring our visions to life and lead our guests on a path of discovery.

One of our seasoned mixologist’s, Curtis Cropp, has created a perfect summertime drink that is sure to please. 


4 Basil Leaves

3 Slices Cucumber

½ oz. Lime Juice

1 oz. Orange Juice

½ oz. Honey

2 oz. Effen Vodka

1 oz. Sparkling Water (optional)

1 Orange Wedge

8 Medium Ice Cubes


Place first four ingredients in a cocktail shaker, reserving one basil leaf for garnish. Muddle together. Add vodka, ice, sparkling water (optional) and shake vigorously 5 times. Garnish with remaining basil leaf.
