Our Food Issue Is always of interest to our readers.

This October issue features a wonderful culinary event benefiting the Alzheimer’s Family Center, which spotights 30 top Orange County chefs creating delectable food offerings showcasing their talents on October 28th at Paséa Hotel in Huntington Beach. One of those chefs, Scott Raczek, is featured in our Hot Spot story about what he’s doing with honest scratch cooking at 90 Pacifica at the DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum.

If you’re into wine, you’ll love our feature on stellar California wines. Wines from Sonoma County, Napa Valley and Tamecula Valley are showcased, in particular California’s oldest winery, Buena Vista Winery.

Our travel feature on Bermuda features some wonderful stand-alone restaurants and others in yacht clubs and resorts throughout the island. It’s nice to know the island paradise is not just known for its magnificent pink beaches but also its appealing food options.

I hope you’ll enjoy our takes on food and wine and plan on checking some of them out. After all, food is what makes the world go round (at least for me!).

Until next time,

Donna Bunce, Editor
